Project Mgmt, Non-Technical - P2 (Project Specialist II)

 

Manages infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of performance and availability.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Participates in the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines, within budget and by following organized and repeatable procedures.
  • Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Acts as a liaison with project stakeholders and effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g. GSM).
  • Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

 

Management Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting project management activities: scheduling, budgeting, task tracking, reporting, risk and issue follow‑up.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, planning engineering, or process development teams.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; able to interact effectively across organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Experience handling basic conflict resolution and facilitating cross‑team alignment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software tools.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
