Business Unit Manager, PI – MENA
The Business Unit Manager, PI – MENA, works in line with corporate, regional and country sales strategies to plan, schedule and execute sales tactics that secure product positioning, market penetration, training and forecasting aligned with market and sales plans. This role leverages marketing intelligence and competitive insights to expand market share while driving customer satisfaction, business growth and team performance across the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Drive regional sales strategy in alignment with corporate and country objectives to achieve revenue and market share targets.
● Monitor regional sales performance, identify forecast gaps and implement corrective actions to deliver aggressive sales growth.
● Prepare quarterly regional sales forecasts and contribute to market potential and expense planning.
● Integrate territory plans and account profiles into a cohesive regional sales plan in partnership with the Country Sales Manager.
● Plan and control regional expenses to ensure objectives are achieved within budget.
● Travel regularly with team members to ensure effective execution of regional and divisional strategies.
● Conduct quarterly sales reviews with distributors and adjust strategies to meet country-specific requirements.
● Lead territory management and account targeting initiatives across the region.
● Develop and implement regional targeting programs and expansion analyses for new territories.
● Coach the sales team on disciplined selling models, field execution and customer engagement best practices.
● Share personal selling expertise to motivate and elevate team capability without overtaking the sales process.
● Identify and develop relationships with economic buyers in key accounts and support contract negotiations across product portfolios.
● Create bundled product and value-added service solutions aligned with customer and business needs.
● Maintain strong relationships with major accounts, key stakeholders and internal cross-functional partners.
● Support the development and expansion of customer educational programs and industry forums.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and approval processes prior to product promotion or publication.
● Drive quality awareness across the team and ensure completion of mandatory training requirements.
● Facilitate complaint resolution and support field corrective actions as required.
● Promote a work environment aligned with Quality, EHS and Energy policies.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Minimum of 8 years' experience in medical device sales or commercial leadership roles.
● Minimum of 3 years' experience leading sales teams in a regional or multi-country environment.
● Demonstrated experience developing and executing regional sales strategies.
● Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting and expense management.
● Proven ability to lead contract negotiations and engage economic buyers.
● Ability to travel extensively across the MENA region.
● Strong influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience in Peripheral Interventions or related cardiovascular portfolios.
● Experience managing distributors across multiple countries.
● Demonstrated ability to drive market expansion and territory development initiatives.
● Advanced degree in business or a related field.
