With access to the latest tools, information and training, we’ll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.
Location: ideally Düsseldorf (hybrid work model)
Salary range: €75,000 – €91,000 (depending on experience)
Making numbers matter – finance with real-world impact
At Boston Scientific, we do more than make medical devices – we improve lives. Our Neuromodulation division develops technologies that help patients living with chronic pain or neurological conditions like Parkinson’s. From Spinal Cord Stimulation to Deep Brain Stimulation, we’re redefining what’s possible in treatment and giving people back their quality of life.
We’re now looking for a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) to support our Central Western regional commercial team. Based ideally in Düsseldorf, you’ll be part of a small, entrepreneurial business unit with the backing of a global MedTech leader.
This is a high-impact role with real visibility: where your work directly influences how we plan, grow, and deliver life-changing therapies to patients.
Working at the heart of the business
You won’t be sitting behind spreadsheets all day. In this role, you’ll be a key voice in our local leadership team, supporting around 60 colleagues in the region and collaborating closely with the Business Unit Director, Marketing Manager, and Country Managers across DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Benelux (Belgium & Netherlands).
You’ll lead financial planning cycles, drive forecast accuracy, and turn numbers into insights that help teams make better decisions. Whether it’s advising on resource allocation, analyzing sales performance, or helping model the launch of a new technology – you’ll be part of the conversation from the start.
You’ll also work closely with our central FP&A hub to align on strategy, ensure high-quality reporting, and continuously improve the way we work together.
What you’ll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone who brings a strong foundation in FP&A, paired with a proactive mindset and a passion for business partnership. You should feel comfortable owning your work, challenging constructively, and offering ideas – not just answers.
Some of the soft skills that help in this role: curiosity, adaptability, clear communication, and the ability to build trust quickly. If you enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where you can shape your role, you’ll fit right in.
Must-have qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
- Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Tableau, Hyperion, or similar
We’re open to candidates from outside the MedTech industry, as long as you bring the mindset and energy we’re looking for.
What you can expect
This role offers you the best of both worlds: the autonomy and agility of a small team, with the stability and resources of a global company behind you. You’ll have real influence on business decisions and be encouraged to contribute beyond your job title. We value initiative, open collaboration, and learning together.
You’ll work on meaningful projects, get exposure to leadership, and have the chance to grow – whether that’s stepping into a larger role within Neuromodulation or moving into a bigger division within Boston Scientific in the future.
We offer a competitive salary (€75–91k), a strong benefits package (including bonus, pension, 30 days of vacation, laptop, and phone), and the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
Ready to shape the future with us?
If you’re looking for more ownership, more purpose, and the chance to partner closely with business leaders – we’d love to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV in English, along with your salary expectations and start date. We aim to respond to all applications within 5 business days.
