About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager in Sales in the MedTech environment. Our current sales team consists of five highly skilled members who stand out for their close and effective collaboration. Each team member possesses extensive expertise and in-depth market knowledge, enabling us to provide our clients with competent and targeted advice. Your responsibilities: 

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for specific customer segments by identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities in the region.
  • Contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing the involved partners with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope.
  • Develops the stakeholder map, defines touchpoints and action plan for each of them and ensures account information are timely updated into systems.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with economic stakeholders, clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), promoting Health Economics arguments and engaging decision-makers to discuss commercial programs and solutions.
  • Supports clinical colleagues in identifying and managing sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; performs, with the guidance of National Sales Manager, clinical selling based on clinical support information.
  • Based on interactions with KOLs, clinical and economic stakeholders and clinical support, gathers and shares information about next tenders and other commercial opportunities.
  • Working in line with the Boston Scientific corporate guidelines, processes, and procedures.

 

Your strengths:

  • Seasoned professional salesperson, with demonstrated sales success
  • Strong track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a territory and analytical mindset
  • Effectively determines customer’s needs and applies knowledge of products and services to meet these needs
  • Identify and build strong long-term relationships with KOL’s and all other clinical and non-clinical stakeholders

 

Our requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in medical science, economics or similar relevant education.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as Account Manager or Product Specialist in medical device companies.
  • Strong customer orientation  
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Able to work in a multi-functional and multicultural environment
  • Based in the southern part of the Netherlands
