We are seeking an Associate Project Manager on a permanent basis to join our team.

 

 

 

Job Purpose: 

 

Provide vision and leadership for any approved project(s) from Global Supply Chain. These projects vary in size and scope but may include supporting new product development, acquisitions/divestitures, Quality/Regulation driven project work, technology development, as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC. These projects often have a medium to high level of complexity and visibility throughout the organization. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Lead operations and quality improvement projects, determining objectives and deliverables, and ensuring achievement. 
  • Assist in the development and delivery of appropriate project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project. 
  • Ensure project execution by identifying resources, assigning tasks, monitoring project progress, identifying risks and mitigations, and developing and executing contingency plans
  • Mentor cross-functional teams to support their development and organizational requirements. 
  • Promote a team ethos to deliver on commitments working across different functions and cultures. 
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet regulatory and corporate standards. 
  • Regularly present project status to individual team members, project team leadership, and company leadership as required. 
  • Facilitate communication workstreams for various programs, ensuring smooth delivery of status updates.  
  • Partner with a variety of function, region, and business resources to develop and execute business plan, facilitate collaboration to achieve project objectives. 
  • Assist in implementing permanent changes to business practices to ensure overall effectiveness of the company. 

 

 

Quality System Requirements: 

 

 

In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 

  • Assure that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy. 
  • Establish and promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System. 

 

 

Minimum Education and Experience 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 4-6 years of related work experience. 
  • 1+ years’ people manager experience required (e.g. People Leader of direct reports) and/or 1+ years’ project management experience required (e.g. functionally leading a complex project within your area of responsibility.)  
  • Strong organization, execution, and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and work together with a cross-functional team. 
  • Candidate must be comfortable in front of all levels of the organization. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%. 

 

 

Additional desired experience and qualifications: 

 

 

  • Experience as a project lead (as either PM or functional Lead) in one of the following areas is desirable: 
    • New Product Development 
    • Commercialization activities 
    • Acquisitions and/ or Integrations 
    • Capital Equipment/Service 
    • Quality System/Regulation 
    • Technology Development 
    • Product/ Line Transfers 
    • Dual Site activities 
  • PMP certification is a plus.
