Hybrid Roles:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equipment Engineer to support the sustaining activities of our production lines, while driving continuous improvement and executing strategic line-specific projects. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability and process stability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing equipment performance, identifying root causes of downtime, and implementing effective solutions to improve key metrics—specifically Machine Availability (MA). This requires a strong command of problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and the application of statistical tools and studies to support data-driven decisions.

To excel in this role, the candidate must be self-sufficient, capable of managing tasks proactively and independently, and demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about operational excellence and innovation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

· Managing unplanned equipment downtimes on the production line by applying problem-solving tools and root cause analysis techniques to restore equipment to full operational status.

· Working closely and collaboratively with equipment technicians to resolve issues efficiently and minimize production impact.

· Maintaining clear and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders regarding line-down events or adverse equipment conditions, including status updates and recovery plans.

· Conducting statistical analyses to identify trends and implement continuous improvement plans that enhance area performance and equipment reliability.

· Leading and executing engineering projects, such as equipment upgrades, line movements, and design improvements, to support strategic business objectives.

· Effectively managing task planning and time allocation to handle a high volume of responsibilities while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

· Ensuring all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and operational requirements.

· Acting as owner of the equipment’s regulatory documentation, which includes improving preventive maintenance routines, creating part numbers for spare components, and managing risk assessments and change controls in accordance with quality procedures and policies.

· Demonstrates a robust technical command of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic principles, and basic programming knowledge, providing a strong foundational understanding of equipment functionality. This technical depth enables precise

guidance to technicians during troubleshooting and ensures that systematic engineering solutions are effective, long-lasting, and prevent recurrence of the same downtime issues.

What We’re Looking For:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical Industrial Maintenance or related field.

· English Level desired: B2 (70% - 79%).

· Required knowledge: Equipment Maintenance, Process Improvement, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis.

· At least 3 years of experience in similar position.

· Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
