About the role:
As a Hardware Design Engineering R&D Manager in the Neuromodulation division, the function oversees the design, development, and testing of hardware for implantable medical devices used in pain management and the treatment of movement disorders. This team focuses on supporting the design, development, and testing of medical device hardware using various approaches. The hardware engineering manager supervises a team of R&D engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient and high-quality design and testing of this medical device hardware.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hardware development-related work experience
- 2+ years of experience in direct management of hardware engineers or responsibility for overseeing technical employees’ work
- Experience with a company that makes a physical product (medical device, wearable device, aerospace, automotive, electrical components, or equipment) rather than a service.
- Strong understanding of digital circuit design, analog design experience related to power management systems, wireless receivers and transmitters, battery charging circuits, oscillators, tuned circuits, filters, matching networks, and embedded systems.
- Experience with common lab equipment such as power supplies, source meters, Oscilloscopes, data scopes, Spectrum analyzers, and Network analyzers etc.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of requirement verification
- Knowledge of design Controls with a particular focus on requirements, design, verification, and traceability. Experience writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests
- Hands-on experience with product development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English Advanced 90-99% (C1/C2)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing in a regulated product industry (medical device, aerospace, automotive, or defense)
- Experience working with a global R&D team
- Experience prioritizing resource needs across competing projects
- Experience in leading change management initiatives
- Strong communication skills, including technical discussions at all levels
- Experience with medical equipment regulatory standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14708)
- Medical device experience in implantable systems (e.g., pacemaker or defibrillator) development with hardware/Firmware integration
