About the Role :
 
Coordinates and manages the production planning and scheduling for the manufacture of FG and subassemblies. Works closely with the Core Team and Global Supply Chain to make sound business decisions that positively impact the ability to meet the needs of our customers while satisfying quality, inventory, cost and delivery requirements. 
  1. Coordination of production workflow for multiple products and with focus on the Production Unit where the planner gives support to.
  2. Planning and prioritization of operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  3. Achieves timely communication with operative areas (Production, Purchasing, etc.) with direct influence on their functions knowing their needs and creating a balance for the plant and the customers.
  4. Able to lead the weekly schedule adherence meeting with Global Supply Chain.
  5. Prevents and communicates to the CT on service level risks related with performance, quality or changes on the demand.
  6. Estimates the amount of pallets required to be air shipped and justifies the reasons behind it. This requires as well the coordination in the production floor to ensure the execution of these plans to avoid service disruptions.
  7. Knowledgeable of the production lines constraints and restrictions to make reachable production plans.
  8. Knowledgeable of the tools available, the usage and reinforces the importance of having them updated.
  9. Communicates any change of plan with the Core Team and materials team to ensure that it can get covered by the support areas.
  10. Coordinates (as needed) the creation and run of non-commercial orders in the production line. The owner is the responsible of the whole process but the planner collaborates on the coordination.

You’re Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct production planning to effectively comply with product requirements, maintaining a balance between the clients requirements and the site efficiency and inventory level.
  • Establish an actual, reachable, and acceptable Production Plan.
  • Obtain an effective use of labor and equipment.
  • Achieve timely communication with operative areas (Production, Purchasing, etc.) with direct influence on their functions, and with the entire organization in general.
  • Follow up on the production plan through defining appropriate quantities, distribution and times in order to achieve maximum operative efficiency.
  • Perform the capacity requirement analysis, with a monthly frequency as minimum.
  • Weekly and monthly reports on Production Plan control and monitoring.
  • Establish especial schedules, such as overtime, trainings, meetings, etc. within the production plan.
  • Leads the Supply Management monthly meeting, as part of the SI&OP process.
  • Capable of making a business decision, use and present the relevant business information that guided you in making the decision.
  • Identifies and provides guidance for the needs of others (individuals, businesses, geographies) when building solutions or processes.
  • Possesses technical knowledge to successfully achieve goals, objectives and make decisions.
  • Recommends and guides teams through technical expertise and knowledge to successful find solutions.
  • Build relationship between teams and customers, understanding the requirements and influencing to achieve high quality support.
  • Asks open ended questions that lead others to think out of the box.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor-licenciature: Bussiness Administration, Industrial Engineering or field related
  • English Level desired: 80%.
  • Experience: At least 2 years
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Inventory Management
  • Rapid Response knowledge is a plus
  • APICS certification is a plus
  • SAP Knowledge and experience
