About the Role:

Supervises, leads and provides technical direction to a group of entry level engineers.  Devotes a portion of time contributing to the technical responsibilities of the department in projects with moderate and high complexity. Under minimal supervision/guidance, compiles, analyzes, and reports operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, and materials.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Provides guidance and on the job training to staff.

Assists subordinates in attaining career goals.

Motivates individuals to achieve results.

Works with manager to establish department goals and accountabilities.

Assists manager to plan resource needs and hiring for department and projects.

Maintains and enhances cross-functional team relationships.

Works with professional staff in resolving technical problems.

Ensures policies and processes are followed.

Successfully complete technical work in one or more of the following: design and development, test of materials or products, preparation of specifications, process study, research investigation, and report preparation.

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.

Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical Industrial Maintenance or related field.
  • English Level desired: 80-89%
  • Desired knowledge: Desing control methods such as Risk Analysis (dFMEA, pFMEA) Desing Validation, Verification plans, protocol and report generation PDF/TDP system.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in similar position
