About the Role:
Responsible for providing mechanical engineering support in the creation and the development of new medical device products (invasive and non-invasive).
Your Responsibilities Include:
· Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment.
· Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
· Develops new concepts from initial design to market release.
· Directs support personnel and coordinates project activities.
· Write and submit intellectual property (patents).
· Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development.
· Investigates and evaluates existing technologies.
· Reviews or coordinates vendor activities to support development.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic-Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Equivalent.
• English Level: 90-94%.
• Desired knowledge: Design control method such as risk analysis, Desing validation and Verification plans protocol and report generation
• At least 4 years of experience in similar position.
• Experience in medical devices and product transfer.
Important: This role will start in Heredia, but will transition permanently to Cartago. We're looking for candidates who are excited about this move and ready to grow with us in our Cartago location.
