About the role:

Specify design, analyze, simulate, build, test, document and release to manufacturing various electronic circuits for medical devices. Expert in one or more areas of electrical engineering.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Leads or participates on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluates feasibility of concepts, and provides formal estimates for electrical/software designs.
• Coordinates, monitors, and documents project designs, estimates, and costs.
• Creates electrical/software designs utilizing the departments’ standard development tools and procedures.
• Completes project deliverables and monitors project schedules and scope changes to assure team can meet delivery requirements.
• Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results.
• Leads project teams that include Designers, Engineers and Technicians in the design, assembly, and debugging of equipment.
• Designs electrical systems and specifies electrical components.
• Completes FDA/QSR equipment requirements by assisting in the creation of specifications and qualifications.
• Influences and defines functional, departmental and divisional procedures through involvement with cross-functional engineering initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• 5 + years related experience; Experience in a regulated medical device environment preferred.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or other related field (computer, systems). Bachelor’s or above required.
• Effective communications/presentation skills to all levels of the organization (both written and verbal)
• Experience in all areas of responsibility is not required. A strong aptitude and willingness to learn is required.
• Preferred English Level: 80-89% +
