Purpose

  • Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent. Additionally, this role may develop more effective Field Sales Support by improving processes, developing markets and educating field staff through best-in-class sales programs.

Responsibilities

  • Fully developed professional, recognized as a technical and selling expert. Able to tackle complex issues, comprehensive business knowledge of medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory without appreciable direction.
  • Independently plan and develop market for existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs.
  • Prime contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff for technical, contract and project matters.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.

  • Lead specialized project teams & provide technical leadership to Business Unit Heads.
