Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Overall management of warehouse operations run by 3PL and ensuring that they comply with Boston Scientific quality, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Overall responsible for 3PLs & other vendors related to the warehouse.
  • Leading the monthly review meeting with 3PL, freight forwarder, and other vendors.
  • Check vendor invoices and submit them in a timely manner to the relevant department for payment processing.
  • Coordination with the Global team related to the supply of import and export shipments and troubleshooting situations.
  • Coordination with CHA for timely clearance of shipment and provide them with the necessary information if required for customs clearance.
  • Coordination with the finance team for timely duty payment for custom clearance and payment of other vendors.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team on the operational aspect, troubleshooting and constant communication on any related issues, handle and resolve queries raised by stakeholders Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, and compliance team in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
  • Handle various type of Audit – Quality Audits by local and global teams, Statutory Audit by 3rd party auditors.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Support for preparing data & analysis for preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions wherever required.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Liasoning with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as & when needed.

 

Experience Required: 

 

  • Monitoring & controlling Inventory Management activities at the warehouse.
  • Recommends improvements to warehouse practices and documentation.
  • MIS reports submission as per defined timelines.
  • Receives limited supervision on standard issues, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Creates a system to receive and implement ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Makes decisions that directly impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the tasks performed or services provided by the team.
  • Guides by using ongoing service and delivery requirements and standards. Your Experience
  • Graduate degree, Post-graduation / MBA will be preferred.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in warehouse management and progressive experience in Supply Chain / Operations management.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage 3PL & 3PL staff.
  • Exposure to and experience working in regional/global supply chain operations.
  • Has a proven track record of managing multiple tasks within a matrix working environment and simplifying that matrix for stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong process, project, and time management skills with the ability to organize and handle multiple priorities.
  • Working experience with SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, enjoys working in a challenging environment, results-oriented, and a team player.
  • Microsoft tool expert – Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
