Our IT Rotational Engineers (TLDPs) have worked on a variety of projects that reflect the diversity that is IT at Boston Scientific. Your Opportunity: 
As an IT Rotational Engineer at Boston Scientific, you will…
•    become a member of the Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP), a 2-year rotational program that includes four 6-month rotations on four different IT teams.
•    be placed on a team with a specific outcome to achieve during each 6-month rotation. Our TLDPs have contributed to a variety of work that reflects the diversity that is IT at Boston Scientific.
•    practice applying software engineering skills along with project management, product management, user experience, business analysis, lean start-up, user-centered design, and software testing to real business problems. The following are skills that can be acquired and advanced during the 2-year program:
o    Engineering best practices and how we can implement those practices 
o    Front-end development skills
o    Back-end development skills
o    Business analyst skills (story writing, converting user requirement into design specifications; building skills to proactively recommend options to solve a business challenge)
•    participate in TLDP events (e.g., training, team building, knowledge sharing sessions)
•    lead and/or support aspects of the TLDP internship program (e.g., recruiting, training and activities, mentorship)

Your Impact
Examples of meaningful work by IT Engineer TLDPs include developing solutions:
•    to help our sales team increase their customer-focus and support healthcare providers with medical solutions.
•    that help our marketing team get information to the right people at the right time.
•    that help patients manage their care.
•    working on AI Engineering projects, such as developing machine learning models and integrating AI solutions into existing systems.
•    participating in enterprise integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between different software systems.
•    engaging in cybersecurity defense and response activities, including threat detection and mitigation.
Your Qualifications: 
•    You have an interest and capability to learn new programming languages and development approaches
•    You can contribute to the resolution of a technical challenge
•    You can articulate your ideas and opinions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
•    You demonstrate courage when actively sharing your ideas and providing feedback while also being open to others’ views and feedback
•    You jump in and find ways to provide value to the teams you work on, taking initiative to work with others when needed 
•    You demonstrate empathy and understand the value of the user’s perspective
•    You enjoy working in a multicultural environment where people from different backgrounds contribute with their knowledge and experience to deliver solutions to business needs
