About the Position:

The Software Developer – Intelligent Automation (IA) HR CoE will be a key contributor in the ongoing delivery and expansion of IA solutions that help drive informed business decisions. This role will partner with various functions across the HR operations organization to develop automation and process optimization solutions, while adhering to technical best practices and leveraging agile principles. The preferred candidate is an individual with strong technical, analytical, communication, process improvement, critical thinking and business partnership skills. The ideal candidate works best within a team environment, is a self-starter, detailed oriented, is capable of handling multiple projects, and is committed to quickly delivering high-quality services and solutions within deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical developer and executer for various Intelligent Automation (IA) initiatives
  • Work with customers to translate business requirements into automated process optimization solutions
  • Contribute to automation solution testing and peer code review activities
  • Provide end user support, deliver training, and create and maintain process and technical documentation
  • Provide guidance to production support by delivering back up training and assisting with root cause analysis and break / fix
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, scalability, and/or standardization
  • Participate in sprint planning, sprint sizing and daily standups with the project or product team
  • Ensure HR IA standards, best practices, and controls are implemented and followed

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required; Computer Science, Computer / Software Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of development experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or other intelligent / hyper automation concepts
  • Expertise in workflow-based logic, the ability to understand and document a business process, then design and develop a technical solution using various technologies
  • Background in troubleshooting/problem solving techniques and tools
  • Experience in process analysis, design, implementation, and production support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with systems and platforms like SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow
  • Experience working with tools or technology such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Chatbots, Large Language Models (LLMs) or other machine learning concepts/tools
  • Experience working with the Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate)
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA and Agile principles such as story sizing
  • Global experience; exposure to regional and business unit management teams, experience in organizational transformation projects, and/or experience in shared services organizations are a plus
  • Strong analytical, technical, critical thinking, data oriented, innovative, and problem-solving skills, and able to understand complex customer needs to help create solution designs
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate technical topics; both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of project and product teams
  • Strong attention to detail (the advancement of intelligent automation capabilities requires high degree of accuracy and quality)
  • Languages: English, additional language skills a plus
