This position entails actively collaborating on continuously advancing Global Compliance’s data strategy and to support implementation and sustainment. It involves utilizing analytics tools to craft measurement programs that generate data-driven insights, which are then translated into valuable outcomes for various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a fervor for spearheading process improvement initiatives and a demonstrated history of leveraging data and technology to uncover insights across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Moreover, this role involves coaching and guiding the junior team members to cultivate their professional growth and advancement.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining AI and ML algorithms. This role requires mathematical and statistical expertise along with natural curiosity and a creative mind.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.

  • Serve as lead data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities, and work closely with the engineering team in the development of data products

  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.

  • Develop and maintain predictive models to optimize business processes and outcomes

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and operations, to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders at various levels, including executive leadership, in a clear and concise manner

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by developing and implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

  • Experiment with new techniques and technologies to continuously improve our data science capabilities.

 

Professional Qualification & Experience:

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data manipulation and querying in relational databases.

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar

  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery

 

What We’re Looking for:

 

Minimum Qualifications-

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a business environment.

  • Strong experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling

  • Experience working with visualization and ETL tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable business insights.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Relevant experience in multinational company / Healthcare Industry / manufacturing set up in Management Reporting carries weightage.
