  • Responsible for leading and developing all aspects of the tender process across Nordics 
  • (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland)

  • Responsible for supporting key stakeholders to make sure tenders are submitted in a timely manner, professional level and according to legal requirements
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with local rules and legislations regarding public tenders
  • Responsible for developing first-class relationships within the organisation; Building a partnership approach with business leaders, sales teams in the provision of tenders and quotations, making regular contact (including visits) with purchasing departments, in identifying sales enhancement opportunities and in implementing any service improvement programmes;
  • Identifies and develops working relationships with the economic buyer in regions key accounts;  
  • Team Management: Responsible for providing the daily management and direction of the tender and pricing team; Monitors team performance against service indicators on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective actions, preparing reports, summaries, analysis and documentation on all aspects of department function;
  • Demonstrates awareness of broad industry trends and their impact on local/regional sales activities;
  • Exhibits strong inter-personal skills in front of the customer;
  • Quality: demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors -  Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

 

Management requirements

  • University degree in Economics, procurement, or law
  • Several years experience from public tendering and procurement in healthcare sector either from industry or from health sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and communicate through different layers in the organization
  • Analytical skills and business mindset
  • Highly detailed, structured and organized
  • Excellent English skills
  • Knowledge of the Nordic market a plus
