Location:

This role can be based in any Boston Scientific EU hubs (Paris, London, Dusseldorf, Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, Kerkrade)

 

 

Purpose:

Senior-level role that develops & executes a strategy on change management to provide support to leaders and help them to achieve desired stakeholder outcomes of change initiatives. Responsible for designing the overall change framework and plan. Develop and drive the strategy across functional groups to ensure awareness, alignment, and adherence to that change management plan. Provide change expertise when the organization is undergoing significant changes, enabling and measuring the sales/support organization’s success before, during and after the changes are implemented. Partner closely with program managers and organizational change agents, such as Communications & HR, to lead change management efforts.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead a small team of change management professionals in execution of the change management strategy and plans
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and developed to ensure high level of service delivery
  • Coach and consult project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans
  • Initiate, plan, and manage the tools of a project lifecycle.
  • Oversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods
  • Partnerships with key groups to ensure that Communications and HR are involved at the beginning of change implementation process
  • Develop and maintains thorough understanding of the company’s key business objectives and goals
  • Uncover the desired stakeholder behavior change for a change initiative to identify the most appropriate change management support
  • Listen to stakeholders through a variety of means (e.g., focus groups, surveys, quick polls) to spot potential issues for the business
  • Coach leaders on change-friendly behaviors, such as seeking feedback and connecting employees to people and information
  • Help business partners determine how the change will impact stakeholders’ roles, responsibilities, skills, or beliefs
  • Identify early change supporters to build communication strategies that amplify their influence on peers
  • Identify key pockets of resistance and develops strategies to overcome change fatigue
  • Learn and applies stakeholders’ preferred communication channels for different stages of change
  • Monitor external and internal environment for potential threats to successful change implementation and flags them to relevant business partners/units
  • Track and measure stakeholders’ perceptions of change and its impact on them
  • Demonstrate the link between the desired outcome of a change and the communications tactics that have influenced that outcome
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools and matrixes to gauge the change communications program’s effectiveness and improve short- and long-term planning, strategies, and tactics
  • Understand the diverse existence of local legislation with regards to Works Council/Union/Employee consultation processes and the potential impact by change management before implementation of change
  • Drive leadership, sponsor, and stakeholder alignment
  • Document major change impacts and assess magnitude of change across the different business groups
  • Deliver targeted and relevant communications to project team and stakeholder groups
  • Mobilize and begin to engage the Change Network
  • Measure organizational readiness and address resistance to change
  • Design and develop the training plan and curriculum, including Training logistics & delivery (classroom, virtual, bite-sized, etc.)
  • Conduct engagement and “Voice of the Customer” sessions
  • Assess Go-Live readiness
  • Establish change management key performance indicators to use throughout the change journey

  • Be able to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of complex issues;
  • Have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Be a strong champion on change management
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required
  • Have demonstrated experience presenting and advocating programs to customers and/or internal key stakeholders
  • Are a leader who is always focused on doing what’s right for the business, and you know how to lead people and teams through change
  • Have strong people skills, with distinctive ability to motivate and influence people without authority or a direct reporting relationship
  • Proven track record of people management & people development.
