Location: This role can be based in any BSC hubs (Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Dusseldorf)*

 

Purpose

  •  The core objective of this role is to support the definition and implementation of the New Cardio Medical Affairs strategy in EMEA.

 Responsibilities

 Collaborate with Clinical department, HEGA and EMEA marketing groups to build and execute clinical plans to support indication and reimbursement requirements and messaging for BSC products. 

  • Manage ISR process including funding allocation and execution.
    • Support customers in submitting their sponsored research requests
    • Coordinate BSC provision of funding, product or knowledge
    • Serve as point of contact to address customer program issues, questions or concerns related to status, design or budget
    • Work with customers to identify and evaluate publication opportunities and ensure clinical and strategic relevance
    • Facilitate publication and communications support                        
  • Engage with identified HCPs and KOLs to demonstrate the clinical outcome and benefits of company products, technologies and therapies, to exchange clinical, safety and comparative-effectiveness information, to explore clinical areas of need and to discuss corporate initiatives. Specific areas of collaboration include:
  • Providing input to medically-based standard answers to physician initiated questions and clinical / medical updates to content for tender submissions
  • Identifying and helping physicians in delivering educational programs (e.g., symposia)
  • Ensuring that the content and format of EMEA medical symposium/congress presentations are accurate and strategically focused
  • Supporting in-hospital physician activities (e.g., grand rounds, educational programs) where clinical and therapeutic knowledge is requested
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and colleagues
    • Ensure optimal dissemination of clinical study data to internal and external audiences (including EMEA symposia/congress presentations)
    • initiate and facilitate networks, communication and collaboration within EMEA and across other regions. 
  • Define, monitor and communicate Medical Affairs key performing indicators. Make adjustment to plan as needed.

Pre requesites and competencies

  • Medical Doctor or scientific background with solid expertise in Interventional cardiology or similar by experience
  • Significant experience in medical device industry with previous experience in developing clinical strategy and programs and KOL management.
  • Experience in working in a European environment
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels inside and outside BSC
