Territory Manager - Interventional Oncology - UK East Midlands/East Anglia

Role Purpose:

 

  • Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent.  To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning.

 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop an in depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division.
  • Visit customers and / or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with your Manager.
  • Managing of existing and acquiring of new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Consequently planning and developing the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment etc.).
  • Ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs.
  • Competent contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to your Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools (e.g. AMS, etc.).
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Participate in development of less experienced staff members.

 

Role Requirements and Experience:
 

  • Ideally hold a degree within Science - Biomedical or Physiology would be preferred
  • Have experience in a clinical/cath lab setting, sales within a clinical setting would be an advantage but not essential
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Be a self-starter and self-assured
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Be willing the learn new technology and equipment
  • Have a motivation for sales or moving into sales
  • Medical Device or MedTech experience would be beneficial
  • Be willing to travel around your assigned territory
  • Territory: Nottingham, Leicester, Norfolk, Basildon, Watford and Northampton  (More locations available upon application)
