About the Role:

 

Boston Scientific is in the market for an energetic Product Manager to steer the growth of vital Customer Care capabilities, specifically for Field Inventory Management. The preferred applicant should boast a history of contributing to geographically varied teams, propelling exceptional operations, and promoting an environment of creativity and teamwork.

In the role of Product Manager, you will be responsible for representing the voice of the user and stakeholders; develop, keep up-to-date, and organize the Backlog to give the Product Team clear guidance on what should be developed and the sequence of tasks.

An ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience with Agile Methodologies, enjoys working in an exciting fast-paced environment, is innovative, technically savvy, a strategic thinker, and demonstrates an understanding of the business. Should have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a desire to win, and can collaborate across multiple business divisional and regional partners, architecture, and cross functional teams to meet business needs and deliver value.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Incorporate Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation, and operations.
  • Work in dedicated, co-located product teams, consisting of Product Managers, Software Engineers, Designers, and Developers.
  • Establish and track measurable objectives for the team.
  • Responsible for maintaining product backlog, validating user stories, product feature and design validation, product development prioritization and decisions on releases.
  • Adjust product direction based on data, customer feedback, and business stakeholder feedback.
  • Inform product decisions by balancing user and business stakeholder input; create and execute on product roadmaps (outcomes based).
  • Hold team meetings (Standup, IPM – Iteration Planning Meeting, Retro, weekly stakeholder demo) and help plan and facilitate stakeholder and end-user meetings/interviews.
  • Responsible to release new product as often as is appropriate and making that determination in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Solicit input from Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Security, Privacy and other functions to deliver compliant software in an agile manner.
  • Develop software by complying with internal SOPs and WIs and good documentation practices.
  • Serve as the interface between the team and the business. Represent the Product Owner, Stakeholders and functions in all team discussions.
  • Promote a balanced product development team: integrate and enrich engineering, product design, product management, and data science cultures internally.
  • Maintain and continuously upgrade her/his knowledge of Digital Health technologies, external competitive landscape, regulations; capable of learning rapidly to fill any knowledge gaps.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, business model, MVP. Collaborate with divisional stakeholders on strategy, optimal product definition and the Agile, Lean, User-Centered, DevOps process and culture.
  • Responsible to communicate on a regular basis to IT Leadership and business stakeholders, on the status of backlog, value delivered with every release and major issues that affect the development of the product.

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working in IT delivering software solutions using Agile Methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Advanced English
  • Submit Resume in English

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with field inventory management.
  • Experience in life science or other regulated industry
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
