The Field Marketing Specialist Sr. is a role within Sales that drives tactical Marketing programs with key accounts and supporting a Sales region. Specifically, Field Marketing Specialists will educate, train, and support Regional Business Managers and Clinical Specialists on Marketing programs. Major focus of this work will be to interface with referral physicians, pain physicians, surgeons, the Sales team, and patients.  Success is defined as achieving key metrics of success for each program.
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive Patient and Physician field marketing programs
  • Create a liaison role between Regional Marketing Manager and Regional Sales teams
  • Ensure the region engages in the most up-to-date Neuromodulation products, tools, program delivery with physicians and patients
  • Obtain input and provide feedback to Marketing on requirements and improvement opportunities from external customers
  • Understand and share competitive intelligence with Marketing and Sales Management
  • Maintain up-to-date rep spreadsheets and other records as determined by Regional Business Manager (Sales Force Log report)
  • Prepare and submit call reports by deadline WAR (weekly activity report) as required
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows

A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding and wide application of principle, theories, and concepts in the field.  Applies a full understanding of area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.  General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships. This job is the fully-qualified career-oriented position.

Plans and organizes non-routine tasks w/approval. Initiates or maintains work schedule and priorities. Plans and organizes project assignments and maintains project schedules.

Works under general direction regarding the direction and progress of projects and special assignments. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.  Interprets, executes and recommends modifications to company policies. Assists in establishing departmental policies and procedures. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Business Relationships and Project Management 
Establishes and cultivates a wide range of business relationships to facilitate completion of assignments. May interact with vendors. Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects. May lead projects within the function or department and/or represents a specialized field in larger project teams. Influences middle management on business solutions.

Impact 
Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.  Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

Liaison 
Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Uses discretion, diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations. May escalate serious issues to manager.

Mentoring 
Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field, MBA a bonus
  • 3-5 years marketing relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to direct others
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Hands on experience with marketing in Salesforce, marketing automation platforms (HubSpot), and a wide array of marketing software and technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
  • Budget management experience, with ability to negotiate as needed with different vendors and strategic partners
  • Experience with campaign setup, audience segmentation, product launches, email campaigns, delivery monitoring, and reporting
  • Full command in English
