About the role:

The Payroll Systems Operations Analyst ensures the smooth operation and optimization of payroll systems by analyzing processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Working independently, the senior analyst applies advanced payroll principles and knowledge to adhere to standard operating procedures and local legal requirements. This role also involves managing payroll efficiency and accuracy initiatives, as well as developing, managing, and implementing ongoing process improvement and standardization initiatives.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

System Management:

  • Supports the operation and maintenance of payroll systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within payroll systems.
  • Administer system configurations and updates.

Process Analysis:

  • Analyze payroll processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Identify and resolve system issues and errors.
  • Provide technical support to payroll staff and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with IT and software vendors to address system-related concerns.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Document system procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of system changes and updates.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure payroll systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive payroll data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

 

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

 

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in payroll systems experience
  • English Level: C1
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ECP, SuccessFactors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

 

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Portuguese language

 

Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid 3 days a week in Heredia.
