About the Role:
The Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA RA) Information Technology function at BSC is seeking a customer-centric and technically skilled solution architect. This person will be focused on evaluating Quality & Regulatory business needs across the enterprise, assessing products and capabilities to meet those needs, and helping to deliver and support solutions that enable business strategies and objectives. Partnering with our IT QA & RA team members and their stakeholders, the person in this role will iterate on and oversee the IT QA RA technology strategy, roadmap, and solutions that meet stakeholders’ needs. This role provides architectural direction for business processes and technologies for their area of responsibility within the IT organization in accordance with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promotes and supports the principles and standards of Enterprise Architecture.
- Adheres to documented architectural processes and procedures.
- Recognizes architectural problem areas and determine ways to effectively resolve them.
- Develops solutions to technical problems by challenging traditional technical assumptions.
- Guides technology investment decisions based on analysis and evaluation to drive targeted business outcomes while ensuring nonfunctional requirements are met.
- Applies multiple technical solutions to enable future-state business capabilities that drive targeted business outcomes.
- Identifies innovative uses of Information Systems to provide a competitive advantage for BSC.
- Architecturally consults and supports regional or divisional projects and initiatives.
- Implements recommended architecture changes throughout area of responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of experience of delivering value in architecture roles, ideally at organizations with complex matrixed structures and functions
- 6+ years of experience building and deploying platforms or solutions in support of business strategies and objectives
- Business Acumen – ability to understand the needs of the business, translating them into investment decisions. Knowledge of the technology industry, including enterprise applications integrations and data access paradigms
- Technology Expert – Deep experience with QA RA systems.
- Advance English Level
