About the role:
The CDX Service Quality Associate Director will lead a team within the Cardiac Diagnostics (CDX) organization at Boston Scientific. This role is responsible for overseeing complaint analysis related to services, reporting on quality metrics, and coordinating onsite audits with notified bodies. The position also includes leading a business excellence team composed of an industrial engineer, project manager, and data analyst, ensuring continuous improvement in quality and operational processes.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Builds strategic partnerships with stakeholders (Customer Experience, Cardiac Monitoring Center (CMC) Operations, Medical Safety, Sales, Quality, Compliance, R&D) to further departmental and organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
- Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
- Review, analyze and present to senior staff and other groups the effectiveness of the Services Quality Reporting (Quality Metrics Review). Recommends and implements changes to the system as the result of changing regulations and/or business needs.
- Assess the health of the current services provided. Create and manage a quality review dashboard/scorecard that represents internal and external customer requirements.
- Continuous benchmarking of service quality against competitors.
- Manage Value Improvement Program (VIP) for CDx Services.
- Proactive identification of customer impacting issues and complaints with clear escalation.
- Responsible for CMC Clinical Education and Training Program.
- Own documentation/procedures for CMC Services.
What We’re Looking for In You:
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- 10 or more years of related experience in quality engineering within med device.
- 5 or more years of leadership experience in quality management.
- Experience with complaint analysis and quality metrics reporting
- Proven people leadership and team management skills.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and build effective partnerships.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule based out of our Houston, TX facility.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
