About this role:

The Cardiac Monitoring Technician III interprets and reports EKG data received from patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing and developing appropriate treatment plans. In addition, this position provides leadership, guidance, and support to other technicians, promoting adherence to established procedures and quality standards.

Holter Hours:

  • Day shift: 9:00am-7:30pm
  • Night shift: 9:00pm - 7:30am (+10% shift differential)


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply advanced EKG interpretation skills with accuracy and recognizes the clinical implications for patient care
  • Provide direction and coaching to peers, helps the team stay aligned, communicate effectively, and manage independent responsibilities.
  • Accurately document actions taken
  • Build high -quality reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards.
  • Verify patient demographics
  • Achieve and maintain monthly metric goals for quality and productivity.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of downstream impacts and integrate this awareness into decision making
  • Adhering to any general or specific policies, procedures, work instructions, including HIPAA guidelines
  • Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Manage and coordinate emergent situations with confidence, utilizing clinical expertise to ensure timely, patient-centered outcomes
  • Foster strong partnerships with internal and external customers
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Guide and support peers effectively through coaching and mentorship, promoting alignment across the team.
  • Manage responsibilities in a consistent, independent, and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer literacy
  • Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
  • CCT Certification Certified Cardiographic Technician)
  • English as a fluent language
  • Ability to demonstrate EKG interpretation
  • 5+ years of EKG experience in monitor center setting 

 

Additional Details:

The Cardiac Monitoring Technician position is an in-office role. We are located at 1717 N Sam Houston Pkwy W, Houston TX

  • You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
  • You must have full schedule flexibility. Team members work rotating days, including weekends and holidays as needed. Fixed days off or specific availability cannot be accommodated.
  • Training is scheduled over a 4 - 8 week period weekdays during regular daytime hours. Participants are expected to maintain full attendance for the duration of the program.


Benefits offered:

  • Eligible for yearly bonus of up to 4% of your yearly salary 
  • Eligible for sign on bonus of $2K

Maximum Salary: $76,752.00

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements.
