About This Role:
The Event Notification Assistant is responsible for addressing outbound calls to patients, determining critical symptoms, recording a follow-up transmission, and directing calls to the appropriate department/lead/supervisor. This position is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail. The work environment is an office setting where you will be required to sit in front of a computer for long periods.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

  • Responsible for addressing outbound calls to patients, determining critical symptoms, recording a follow-up transmission, and directing calls to the appropriate department head
  • Document symptoms for critical rhythms and accurately report them to the designated team member
  • Aid patients in troubleshooting devices, answer questions, and give device education
  • Ensure all inbound/outbound calls and related documents are handled following HIPAA regulations and Company policy and procedure
  • Maintain consistent communication with necessary individuals to aid in the smooth operation of the Monitoring Center
  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For In You:
Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service
  • Proficient in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cardiac medical terminology is a plus
  • Knowledge of multi-line telephone system preferred
