About the Role

 

Senior Product Manager will be responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific’s Interventional Oncology Portfolio. The role covers a wide regional responsibility, including Southeast Europe, the Eurasian Union, and Turkey. This position is crucial in building and refining the franchise strategy while expanding the utilization of our innovative technologies – such as radioembolization or cryoablation.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Product Expertise: Serve as the main point of contact for product expertise, developing strong clinical and technical capabilities to support customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Marketing Capabilities: Utilize marketing capabilities, including market assessment, segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, and tactic creation, to achieve business objectives.
  • Regional Expansion: Identify opportunities for regional expansion and new product launches, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve these goals.
  • Field Engagement: Actively engage in the field to gain market and clinical insights while building relationships with key physicians.
  • Impact Measurement: Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Internal Relationships: Develop strong internal relationships and build credibility/influence with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer Engagement: Support customer engagement activities and gather feedback on ongoing marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with market needs and business goals.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Any experience in oncology business is strongly preferred.
  • Education: BA/BS degree required; a Master’s or MBA is preferred.
  • Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in creating impactful marketing plans that include a value proposition, positioning, and targeting.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated success as an integral cross-functional team member, with the ability to develop deep clinical expertise in a pharmaceutical / medical device product line.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40%, including international travel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
