Country Manager – Israel
As Country Manager, you will lead and coordinate all local operations, working closely with divisional teams, channel partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, deepening BSC’s market presence, fostering high-performing distributor partnerships, and ensuring operational compliance and excellence. This is a highly visible, leadership role requiring strong business acumen, healthcare industry expertise, and a collaborative leadership style aligned with Boston Scientific’s values.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Work closely with the Regional Director (RD), Divisional Business Units, and Channel Partner Management (CPM) team to develop and implement the country strategy and performance plans
- Market Development: Identify and address opportunities for procedure growth and reimbursement; engage with HMOs, medical societies, and key stakeholders to shape the external market environment
- Distributor Management: Lead strategic alignment with distributors, ensuring resource focus on BSC portfolio and collaboration on joint solutions, especially at T10 accounts
- Health Economics & Market Access: Maintain relationships with governmental bodies and health funds; explore partnerships that support broader access and affordability of BSC technologies
- Divisional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison with divisional teams to coordinate country-level execution of marketing, education, and sales strategies
- Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with clinical and economic decision-makers; support educational initiatives and forums in partnership with key customers
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market data to inform strategy and enable timely responses to local dynamics
- Organizational Culture: Promote a values-driven culture of performance, collaboration, and compliance; serve as Boston Scientific’s senior representative in Israel
- Governance & Integrity: Ensure accurate reporting, asset protection, and full adherence to Boston Scientific’s Code of Conduct, corporate policies, and local regulatory requirements
- Quality Leadership: Support distributor and team compliance with BSC’s Quality System and local regulations, promoting quality awareness and accountability
What are we looking for:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial, strategic, or market development roles within the healthcare or medical device sector
- Proven leadership experience in managing distributor channels and/or direct markets in complex healthcare environments
- Deep understanding of the Israeli healthcare ecosystem, including health funds, medical associations, and regulatory bodies
- Track record of driving cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with regional or global stakeholders
- Fluent in Hebrew and English; excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong financial, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in a country manager or national market development role within a multinational healthcare company
- Familiarity with Boston Scientific product portfolios or related technologies
- Experience managing partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g., HMOs, Ministries of Health, procurement entities)
- Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Experience in organizational development or culture-building initiatives
