Purpose Statement

Sells and promotes company products within a defined geographic territory by developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products by current accounts in an effort to meet a sales quota based on company sales goals and to directly increase sales revenue of the company.

In Electrophysiology (EP), we offer technologies such as 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, POLARx (Cryo System), Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters. Please come and join our Electrophysiology Field team at this very exciting time for our division.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sells products by general and scheduled sales calls to meet with current & potential customers to uncover its unmet needs and fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition and pricing needs) of existing & potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of accounts and discussing issues with manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
  • Establishes pricing package (capital equipment) by working with relevant Boston Scientific personnel to establish price points that address specific customer's needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Develop and execute customer development & educational program based on clinical evidence and clinical field experience.
  • Observes actual procedures in electro-physiology lab for in-service capability development as well as customer insight & specific needs.
  • Sincerely complete EP educational course under guidance of EP KR trainer.  
  • Provide technical & clinical support(in-service) to physicians and EP Lab staff on the effective use of Boston Scientific product portfolios (RHYTHMIA and POLARx System).
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Perform administrative work, including managing account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and company system input and other operational tasks.
  • Contribute to peer and team development by sharing best practice and learning experience.
  • Provide mentoring to new team members as requested. 
  • Collaborate and well communicate with business partner(dealer) for better customer care.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field clinical/sales experience
  • Passion to learn and dedicate to improve patient’s lives.
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate & communicate with diverse internal and external partners, including across functions, with regional and global partners, and with organizational leadership

 

Preferable Requirements

  • ~ 3 years medical device sales experience
  • EP or CRM clinical in-service experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

 

Required System Skills

  • Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred
