(Sr.) Supply Chain Analyst

Scope of this role includes international freight, warehousing, distribution, and trade compliance.

To initiate logistics process improvement and manage the performance. To coordinate logistics and local distribution with an optimized process with logistics partners. To control dedicated 3PL and other logistics partners not to prevent from streamline flow by comparative cost. Lead and support projects to enhance logistics process efficiency.

  • Lead and implement continuous improvement programs to drive operations excellence around on-time, damages, logistics spend and visibility while enabling growth.
  • 3PL warehouse operations and local distribution supervision and control
  • Vendor KPI management and lead QBR
  • BTS logistics related report development & maintenance
  • RPA report development & maintenance
  • Periodic cycle counting & Inventory accuracy management in line with SOP

 

Key Responsibilities

 

      Trade compliance and optimize inbounding

  • Logistics Management complying with Korea Customs regulations and compliance (e.g. HS Code, FTA, CIT, KMDIA pre-approval, etc.)
  • Manage the relationship of freight service providers, build strategic partnerships, monitor performance, and drive improvement plans, and lead QBR meeting
  • Controls the shipment coordination and customs clearance as well as manages inbound history and related documents.
  • Manage Day-to-day Import schedule and share it to stakeholders.
  • Preparation customs audit

 

      3PL operation management

  • Supervise warehouse activities relating to ordering, receiving, labeling, put-away, shipping, return of product in accordance with SOP.
  • Plans and assigns duties to warehouse staff and supervises their work.  Trains warehouse staff when deemed necessary.
  • Identifies and records any problem relating to the procedure and any supply issue.
  • Supervises optimized distribution with timely delivery service to customers by KPI.
  • Identifies and records incorrect activities relating to the local warehousing and distribution procedure under Quality Management System.
  • Ensures cost effective delivery of products against delivery frequency.
  • Ensure data accuracy including SAP
  • Provides monthly statistics and reports on logistics
  • Project Management regarding with 3PL, Distribution Center in/out bound management and etc.
  • Preparation for internal audit and follow up
  • Take an initiative of VIP saving, cost reduction.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum more than 7 years of working experience in Logistics, Physical distribution or Supply Chain field in multinational companies.
  • Good knowledge of supply chain management concept, import/export legislations, customs regulations, financial principles and inventory management.
  • Should be required Integrity and timely responsive.
  • Inter-personal and effective written & verbal Communication skill.
  • Negotiation skill.
  • Demonstrates competency in Inventory Management.
  • Computer literate. Familiar with Microsoft Excel & Power Point.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, numerical and keying accuracy.
  • SAP SD/MM, SAPWMS experience preferred.
  • Positive thinking and Possess problem solving ability.
