Accountant III

[Position Summary]
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced accounting professional to support core accounting operations, monthly closing, and global project activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining compliance with internal control requirements, and collaborating effectively with regional and global stakeholders, including close collaboration with Global Business Services (GBS). The position will also contribute to global accounting initiatives aimed at process standardization and continuous improvement.
[Key Responsibilities]
1. Global Projects

Participate in global accounting projects (e.g., global harmonization, system implementations, process improvements, and policy standardization)

Partner with regional finance teams to improve operational effectiveness

Coordinate with Global Business Services (GBS) and other related teams
2. Accounts Payable (AP) / Payment
-
Review and process payment requests in a timely and accurate manner
-
Monitor high spenders and perform follow-ups as required
-
Review and approve payment processing prior to execution
-
Conduct Concur/T&E training for new employees
3. Monthly Closing
-
Review month-end close activities in accordance with internal timelines
-
Review balance sheet account reconciliations
-
Manage and update close task schedules
-
Review Manual Journal Entries (MJEs)
-
Review Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
4. Treasury
-
Provide support for treasury-related activities as needed
5. Fixed Assets (FA)
-
Review physical inventory count results
-
Review and submit quarterly PPE roll-forward schedules
-
Manage fixed asset–related accruals (e.g., asset retirement obligations)
-
Manage fixed asset tagging
6. Intercompany / Expat-related Items
-
Review intercompany transactions
-
Follow up on expatriate cost-bearing entities
-
Review expatriate cross-charge transactions
7. Others Responsibilities
-
Review and approve finance-related requests as assigned
-
Manage insurance renewals and payments (including medical insurance)
-
Review and support lease accounting
-
Handle ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required
[Required Qualifications]
-
7–10 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
-
Lead and deliver global projects to successful execution
-
Solid understanding of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
-
Hands-on experience in AP, Fixed Assets, and Internal Controls
-
Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel
-
Ability to work effectively in a multinational or shared-service environment
-
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and sense of ownership
-
Active communication and collaboration skills with confidence to challenge and escalate when necessary
[Preferred Qualifications]

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-
CPA (AICPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred
-
Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
