This sales position requires strong clinical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a high-performance, team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the catheterization laboratory and be capable of building trusted relationships with physicians and cath lab staff. At Boston Scientific, our products and technologies are used to diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Within Interventional Cardiology (IC), we design, develop, and deliver advanced technologies for diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular disorders. Our portfolio includes Drug-Eluting Stents, Guide Catheters, Balloons (including specialty balloons), Guidewires, Coronary Atherectomy systems, and Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS). [Purpose Statement]
This position is responsible for selling and promoting company products within a defined geographic territory by developing new accounts and expanding usage in existing accounts. The role is also accountable for achieving assigned sales targets and directly contributing to territory growth and overall company revenue.
[Key Responsibilities]

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by executing strategic territory plans and conducting effective customer visits

Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies by analyzing product positioning, competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, and account potential

Build strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and hospital stakeholders to establish long-term partnerships

Provide on-site procedural support in complex PCI cases, including atherectomy, specialty balloon preparation, IVUS-guided optimization, and FFR-related cases

Deliver ongoing clinical education and product training to ensure safe and effective product usage

Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding product penetration within existing accounts

Act as the primary clinical and technical resource in the territory, including troubleshooting and case support for advanced hardware systems (e.g., IVUS platforms and atherectomy systems)

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to build mid- and long-term territory growth strategies

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Clinical, Pricing, and other internal teams to maximize territory performance

Represent Boston Scientific at conferences, meetings, and educational programs to promote company products and strengthen brand presence

Manage customer inquiries and complaints by providing timely, professional, and solution-oriented responses
[Required Qualifications]

5 – 10 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales (interventional cardiology experience preferred)

Strong clinical aptitude and ability to support high-complexity interventional procedures

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and performance orientation

Valid driver’s license

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
