Purpose Statement


Provide HR leadership and support at the divisional, functional and country level. Support execution of business strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes. Partner with function leaders and senior HR leadership to deliver human capital solutions aligned with performance goals/business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for providing HR leadership and team leadership in most of the following areas: competency development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, labor relations, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.
  • Diagnose business needs and partners with business leaders and other key stakeholders to develop and implement solutions and services. Measure strategy execution success and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Set strategic direction and participate in the design, development and execution of organizational effectiveness and development programs. Conduct assessments and provide a clear picture of the current state; develop action plans to support achievement of organization objectives. Provide decision support for business decisions, leveraging analytics where appropriate.
  • Leverage HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to address and satisfy the strategic needs of the business.  Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making long-range strategic decisions related to human capital.
  • Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
  • Responsible for identifying gaps between current organizational capabilities, required competencies and skills, and the future strategic objectives of the function.
  • Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with function or country group leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization.
  • Build a collaborative and high performing HR team (HRBPs, COEs and HR Ops) and develop functional skills and competencies of direct reports. Promote talent development and build a strong succession pipeline.

  • May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals.  Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).


Experience Requirements


  • The ideal candidate should bring at least 15 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity of working in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment.
  • This role requires someone who possesses a strategic mindset with the ability to execute flawlessly and drive for results.
  • Ability to foster excellent partnership with the regional COE as well as being hands-on to drive HR operational efficiency.
  • Outstanding influencing skills, communication skills, relationship building and business partnering ability, and a high level of finesse / executive presence when dealing with senior leaders and all employees within the business.
  • Possess great interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively and flex easily according to the demands of the business, organization and different stakeholders
  • Experience in working with labour union, strong understanding of local labour laws
  • Strong in employee relations, culture alignment and change management
  • Experience in leading teams and fostering cohesion
  • Knowledge of HR best practices
  • Proficiency in English language
