Purpose Statement

Boston Scientific Korea EP is seeking a passionate, experienced and strategic medical device expert to join our Electrophysiology team as a Product Manager, focusing on the Korea. This role will serve as a go-to resource for the Korea EP sales team and requires flawless preparation of product launches, continuation marketing campaigns, developing and tracking key metrics, and strong collaboration across all functional areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Manager for the EP division will be responsible for leading the commercialization and upstream product strategies for these 5 EP franchises in Korea:
    • Core EP Rx, Dx, and Capital
    • Advanced RF (Stablepoint & Rhythmia)
    • Cryoablation (POLARx)
    • PFA (Farapulse and Rhythmia)
    • Access Solutions (Baylis)
  • Planning and executing continuation marketing programs for existing products through a variety of channels.
  • Partnering with creative marketing and external vendors to conceptualize and develop high impact digital sales tools that integrate seamlessly into the sales process.
  • Developing strong relationships with physicians, the sales force, upstream product marketing, as well as R&D, Legal, Regulatory, and Clinical counterparts in order to build a deep understanding of how to create value in the Electrophysiology space.
  • Help achieve revenue, profit, and margin targets for the EP franchise
  • Create launch messaging, targeting, pricing, promotion, and translations for Go-To-Market business plans for the Korea, in conjunction with APAC marketing and education along with managing limited market release programs and reporting on execution deliverables and reimbursement tactics.
  • Serve as key finance liaison with focus on sales forecasts, plan numbers, and quantity purchase program strategy and execution.
  • Engage with KOL’s and top accounts to drive preference toward EP products.
  • Execute “world class” EP physician events including conventions and sales meetings.
  • Drive capital services sales and capital marketing promotions.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or technology-based products.
  • Experience working with complex product portfolios in the medical device industry. Experience with strategic product planning and commercial execution. Developed leadership skills/experience, including the ability to map task interdependencies, prioritize such tasks, and develop, monitor and live within budgets as well as the demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Preferable Requirements

  • +3 years Marketing experience
  • MBA preferred.

Required System Skills

  • Excellent English communication (Writing & Oral) ability
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Japanese preferred
