[Purpose Statement]

Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing local business and marketing strategies aligned with regional and global objectives. The role focuses on driving market development, product adoption, commercial excellence, product launches, demand planning, and revenue growth across the assigned portfolio. Working closely with sales and cross-functional teams, Product Manager will identify growth opportunities, strengthen market positioning, and expand Boston Scientific’s presence in existing and emerging markets.

 

[Key Responsibilities] 

 

1. Strategic Business & Product Management

  • Develop and execute annual business and commercial plans aligned with regional and global strategies

  • Drive the full product lifecycle, including market assessment, competitive analysis, product positioning, launch planning, and commercialization

  • Identify market opportunities and develop growth strategies to expand market share and revenue

  • Execute pricing strategies in alignment with global guidance and local market dynamics

 

2. Product Launch & Market Development

  • Lead local product launch planning and execution using global launch frameworks and toolkits

  • Develop and implement demand generation initiatives, customer education programs, and marketing campaigns

  • Create and localize product value propositions, promotional materials, and strategic messaging

 

3. Commercial Excellence

  • Partner closely with the sales team to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies and business objectives

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and demand planning to support supply continuity and customer satisfaction

  • Manage capital equipment planning, pricing, installation, service support, and product upgrades

 

4. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key customers

  • Organize and manage local congresses, workshops, and educational events

  • Deliver product and commercial training to internal and external stakeholders

 

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Demand Planning teams

  • Partner with regional and global marketing organizations to align strategies and influence future business initiatives

  • Provide actionable market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to local and global leadership teams

 

[Required Qualifications] 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2 – 10 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English

  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative market data

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities

 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • Experience in Urology, Surgery, or related healthcare markets

  • Knowledge of capital equipment business models and commercial operations

  • Demonstrated success in product marketing, business planning, new product launches, and market development

  • Experience with P&L management, pricing strategy, and reimbursement expansion

  • Experience working with indirect sales channels, distributors, or strategic partnerships
