We are seeking skilled marketers to lead in shaping our business strategy and developing innovative solutions for unmet needs. In the Peripheral Interventions (PI) team, the Product Manager plays a crucial role in bringing new products and innovations to the market that significantly improve outcomes for physicians and their patients. This role involves understanding the global and local Peripheral interventions market, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for excellence in the endovascular space, and leading product development efforts. Responsibilities include conducting active market research, developing detailed financial models, and engaging directly with customers, making this role a key component of our marketing team.

 

Job Summary

Support the franchise in developing and implementing marketing programs in alignment with defined marketing plans and budgets. Conduct research to assess market and growth opportunities, drive product launches, and support the sales team through training and tracking the effectiveness of marketing programs against set goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Analysis:

  • Maintain and analyze product forecasts, including inventory levels to ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop and implement product launch strategies tailored to the local market needs, incorporating insights from market analysis.
  • Develop competitive strategies, including product analysis and pricing strategies, to strengthen BSC’s market positioning, profitability, and competitive advantages.
  • Provide insights into market potential and assist in the development of strategic planning.
  • Track financial performance and develop action plans to meet revenue objectives.

Market Development:

  • Develop and execute local market strategies to identify clinical and market trends.
  • Create and manage physician training programs, aligning with strategic marketing plans to enhance product understanding and adoption.
  • Develop creative marketing approaches for both existing and new products to increase market penetration and customer engagement.
  • Assist in creating product, procedure reimbursement strategies.

Product / Market Management:

  • Manage both consumable and capital equipment, ensuring comprehensive market coverage.
  • Facilitate physician-to-physician training and develop sales tools to aid in effective sales execution.
  • Engage in local sales meetings and participate in major customer events to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive product launch strategies, ensuring successful market entry and sustained growth.
  • Coordinate with operations to manage supply chain effectively, including monitoring inventory and planning transitions for new products.

Product Development:

  • Communicate local market needs to ensure alignment with regional and global marketing strategies.
  • Conduct continuous product evaluations and provide feedback to regional teams for product improvement.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders/ KOLs to foster advocacy and gather insightful feedback.
  • Develop a responsive support structure for sales representatives and sales management, enhancing communication and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate physician symposiums and other engagement events to strengthen professional relationships and promote educational objectives.

 

Qualification and Experience 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience (Sales and/or Marketing) within the Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical industry. 
    • Preference for candidates with a strong understanding of industry dynamics, procedures, and physician needs, especially those experienced in the specific product portfolio.
    • Experience in a multinational company is preferred.
  • Strategic Marketing Skills: Proven ability to generate revenue through effective marketing plans, demonstrating a strategic approach to market penetration.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills required for managing relationships with various stakeholders and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Adaptability and Management Skills: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with excellent multitasking, prioritization, project management, and time management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with contemporary platforms and tools that enhance business productivity and content development would be an advantage.
