As TAVI has been proven to be both safe and effective, Korean government has decided to expand its reimbursement coverage for both high & intermediate surgical risk groups starting 2022. Boston Scientific is dedicated to serve patients with aortic stenosis by providing solid product pipeline for TAVI procedure – Safari Guidewire, Sentinel Cerebral Protection Device, and ACURATE NEO2 Aortic Valve System.

Purpose Statement
This individual will be responsible for promoting the use of TAVI portfolio of Boston Scientific Korea to meet a sales quta based on company sales goals and to directly increase sales revenue of the company.
S/he will provide clinical support for a range of BSC TAVI products within the defined territories. The clinical support is required during implant procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional clinical support for TAVI procedures – patient analysis, device preparation, physician training & in-service.
- Provide ongoing clinical education and serve as a primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, basic troubleshooting, and programming in order to implement the therapy and solutions while changing the lives of the patients.
- Develop and implement customer education programs and activities, attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to represent Boston Scientific and promote products and services.
- Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g. clinical research, pricing and/or marketing) to develop optimal solutions.
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
- Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of accounts and discussing issues with Regional Sales Manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
- Determines the needs (e.g., product and pricing), goals, product usage, and types of cases handled by specific customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel to learn which BSC products can best address their specific needs.
- Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g. clinical research, pricing and/or marketing) to develop optimal solutions.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to find new opportunity within hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
- Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Perform administrative work, including managing account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and company system input and other operational tasks.
- Contribute to peer and team development by sharing best practice and learning experience.
- Collaborate and well communicate with business partner(dealer) for better customer care.
- Represent Boston Scientific values and integrity and comply with Boston Scientific’s code of conduct.
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Basic Requirements
- Passion to learn and dedicate to improve patient’s lives.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2-4 years of working knowledge/experience in medical devices/pharm
Preferable Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English preferred
- Proactive and diligent attitudes
Required System Skills
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred
