As an Account Manager, Peripheral Interventions, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process across the North/East region of the Netherlands, covering customers from Gelderland to Groningen. You will serve as a trusted advisor to physicians, key opinion leaders and healthcare stakeholders by providing high-quality clinical and commercial insights that support better patient outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to navigate complex conversations with confidence and credibility. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive business growth, identify commercial opportunities and deliver value to customers across the Peripheral Interventions portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Managing the full sales process for the Peripheral Interventions business across the North/East region of the Netherlands.
● Developing and executing territory and account plans aligned with annual business objectives and strategic priorities.
● Sharing detailed account and market intelligence to support the development of annual strategic plans.
● Building and maintaining stakeholder maps, identifying key decision-makers and establishing targeted engagement plans.
● Maintaining accurate and timely customer and account information within company systems.
● Building long-term relationships with customers, physicians and clinical key opinion leaders.
● Promoting health economics value propositions and engaging healthcare stakeholders on commercial programs and solutions.
● Identifying upcoming tenders, commercial opportunities and market developments, and proactively driving appropriate actions.
● Collaborating with the Business Development Manager and National Sales Manager to identify and advance clinical and commercial sales opportunities.
● Supporting territory growth through effective account management, customer engagement and strategic execution.
Required qualifications:
● Completed degree in medical sciences, economics or a related field.
● Minimum of 1 years' experience in a relevant commercial, clinical or healthcare-related role.
● Knowledge of the cardiovascular and/or peripheral interventions field.
● Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
● Demonstrated ability to build credibility and establish trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
● Strong customer focus with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
● Fluent in Dutch and English.
● Reside within the North/East region of the Netherlands or be willing to travel extensively throughout the territory.
Preferred qualifications:
● Minimum of 1 years' experience in account management, sales or business development within the medical device or healthcare industry.
● Experience working with physicians, hospitals and healthcare decision-makers.
● Understanding of tender processes and healthcare procurement environments.
● Experience developing and executing strategic account plans.
● Knowledge of health economics and value-based healthcare discussions.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
