For the EMEA Global Business Services team, located in Kerkrade, The Netherlands, we are seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Service Delivery Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive, successful experience in the commercial sector. Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing experience is a major plus.

 

About the role:
The GBS Service Delivery Manager C & C provides management and oversight of all aspects of the account receivable processes and activities for all of the in-scope European countries.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of credit & collection functions and processes. Responsible for day-to-day management of a team of 8 collection analysts located in Kerkrade and a team of 5 outsourced FTE’s located in Delhi (Indi
  • Meeting monthly cash collection, aging and DSO target
  • Managing relationships with both internal and external customer
  • Responsible for training and continuous development of staf
  • Oversees the activities of our BPO partner responsible for the cash allocation processe
  • Accountable for creating and distributing the European AR reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Provides input to and participates in monthly and quarterly balance sheet reviews representing Europe or one of the European entitie
  • Participating and representing Europe in global projects as require
  • Accountable for SoX controls framework related to the Customer-to-Cash cycle


What we are looking for:

  • The ideal applicant will have at the  minimum a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field, and at least five years relevant CTC leadership experience in an international environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including business process and data analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all levels from multiple departments and geographic locations; awareness of cultural differences
  • Committed to finding solutions to challenges and enjoys creative problem solving
  • People management skills
  • Applicants must possess strong systems skills; solid collection and negotiating skills; effective oral and written communication skills; and a solid knowledge of customer to cash processes.
  • Ideal applicant must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to thrive under pressure.
  • The candidate is fluent in English and at least one other European language.
  • Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness to take complete ownership of CTC service line
