Purpose:
Work with key business partners to drive value improvement guided by lean principles in order to support business strategy and priorities.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary (together with Operations and Quality) team you will be responsible to manage the engineering activities for the “Supporting area” with the following departments: 


Inventory Control: responsible for inventory accuracy, handling service incidents, set up of new materials in SAP.
Returns department: responsible for handling of returned goods, inspection of damaged products.
Marketing Service: responsible for handling of marketing and demo materials, supplies handling.
Line Facilitators: responsible for handling interruptions in deliveries in Inbound, Outbound, LLI and Exception handling. 

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support Operations in daily issue handling;
  • Identify and lead value improvement, waste elimination and problem solution projects that drive plant and company performance improvements;
  • Drive facility layout and design projects;
  • Initiate, coordinate and drive lean projects and operational excellence;
  • Perform general engineering tasks, which may include updating standards, performing time studies, documenting processes and creating and approving change requests;
  • Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of PFMEA’s, validation requirements, relabeling quality requirements and associated regulatory requirements;
  • Handle NCEP’s and CAPA’s;
  • Mentoring of interns.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an engineer;
  • Experience in process improvements;
  • Continuous improvement mindset;
  • Energetic team player with result driven mindset;
  • Excellent stakeholder management – and communications skills;
  • Capable of collaborating with all organizational levels;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Supply chain experience is an advantage;
  • Experience in the field of medical devices is an advantage;
  • SAP experience is an advantage.
