As a result of our Kerkrade Distribution Center redesign, we are looking for a Line Facilitator reporting into the Supervisor Supporting Ops. The Line Facilitator is responsible for a smooth daily business of the work processes within the Distribution Center by directly solving defaults on processes, systems, materials.

 

As a Line Facilitator you must solve disruptions immediately. It is important that you listen carefully and first ask questions to clarify the problem. After your thorough analysis and considerations, you initiate corrective / preventive actions to resolve the disruptions, preferably structurally. You communicate clearly to everyone involved, the employee who experiences a problem / disruption and to raise it towards the Supervisor. You know when Line Facilitators responsibilities and/or expertise ends and will then call in the help of the Supervisor. Finally, you are the eyes and ears on the work floor when it comes to machines and the overall workplace. If you see something that could be improved, approach your co-workers constructively or report it to the Supervisor.

 

Key responsibilities:

· Solving process issues and first line failures on machines and materials.

· Administering failures and defaults in the Issue tracker.

· Participate actively in structurally improving the production process based on the core metrics data and in consultation with the Supervisor.

 

Minimum requirements:

· Completed MBO 2 education or proven think and work level.

· At least 3 years of recent work experience, gained in a warehouse/distribution center or other logistics work environments.

· Affinity with, and insight into, processes and technology.

· Knowledge of and experience with SAP, WM6, Word, Excel and Power Point.

· Available for two shifts.

· Good communication skills, spoken and written, in Dutch and English.

· Good social skills.
