This role, while based in Kerkrade, is truly Global in terms of scope with team members working across various regions in different BSC hubs. At the Kerkrade site, BSC has established the European Centre of Operations. This hub includes second largest tier 1 Distribution Center and hosts many Global and Regional supporting functions.

About the role
As an experienced professional you will perform secretarial, administrative and organizational tasks in order to provide optimal support to the appointed members of the Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Quality Assurance (QA) Sr. Management and Leadership team. You will play a prominent role and will provide critical support for the Vice President Global RA&QA and Sr. Director QA. 

You will work closely with their diverse leadership and management teams both locally, regionally and globally with minimal supervision. You will coordinate schedules and plan logistics for meetings, administrative support, agenda planning/management, arranging travel and arranging major functional meetings. You will facilitate staff meetings, prepare meeting minutes and ensure active follow up of assigned actions.


This position's main contribution is to provide support to the RA and QA function in order to drive competitive advantage and contribute to business results by improving the function's efficiency. Apart from the primary task of working closely with and directly supporting the Sr. Management and Leadership team, you will be a valued member of the entire team. In your role as Management Assistant you will act as a collective power and preserver of community spirit. This role is critical in terms of providing team support to help ensure that we can meet our common goals & objectives.


  • Good interaction and communication skills to support the atmosphere of the work community and be able to handle complex and challenging situations.
  • Coordinate, organize and/or lead administrative tasks in support of functional area.
  • May design processes to enhance work flow.
  • May assist professional and technical staff with special projects.
  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
  • Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.


You will collaborate with other management assistants at the Kerkrade site and within the wider BSC organization in support of broader goals and objectives. As needed you will serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
You will report to the Vice President Global RA&QA. 
What we are looking for:

  • Relevant educational background (e.g. Management Assistant, Management secretary).
  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative and project coordination work experience.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience pro-actively supporting senior level leadership in a fast-paced global organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to independently work seamlessly across multiple levels of a global organization.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency as well as attention to detail.
  • Advanced use of software – position will generate correspondence and presentations.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong command of the English language, ideally in combination with Dutch.
