Principle purpose of role:
The Senior Analyst Finance & Control is part of the Benelux Finance Team and part of the bigger Global Business Services (GBS) organization. The Senior analyst Finance & Control will be 50% dedicated to supporting the project to move to a new S4 HANA system and 50% dedicated to financially supporting the EMEA GBS Organization (180 Employees) and projects to improve the service delivery in the team.
 
Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the EMEA Magellan program aimed at moving the organization to S4 HANA focused on the accounting as well as commercial aspects for the Benelux. 
  • Support the team making the organization ready for the new system in the area of commercial rebates and commercial contracts.
  • Work with the team members and other stakeholders on analyzing the impact of the system change and proper remediation plan for any risks raised.
  • Ensure commercial models are still viable with after the implementation of the new system. 
  • Lead the team to capture the new possibilities from the new system and implement those in process and procedures. 
  • Provides monthly financial reports on opex and headcounts to GBS Management and identifies significant drivers of performance.
  • Support department managers in analyzing trends, cost per transaction calculations as well as business case modelling for new projects. 
  • Responsible for coordinating the annual financial plan as well as forecast by creating relevant templates and aligning with the global team.
  • Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners.

 
What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor Financial accounting or Business Economics
  • 5+ years of working experience in Finance, preferably FPA&A or Accounting.
  • Strong Excel knowledge and systems skills (Tableau, Hyperion, SAP), SAP S4 HANA experience is an asset. 
  • Continuous Improvement mindset is a must - a LEAN Green Belt certificate is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Initiative and ability to work well within a fast-paced organization often under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team.
