The Global Business Services (GBS) team is a function established within Boston Scientific, designed to improve the efficiency of key business processes by taking opportunities to drive standardization, leverage resources, knowledge and skills, and monitor the effectiveness of service delivery against benchmarks and service level agreements. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Business Analyst is to provide support in cross functional- and regional projects. This individual will be partnering with program/project managers, to ensure efficient and high-quality processes. Responsibilities may include: process improvements, reporting & analysis, digitization & automation, support mergers & acquisitions, relationship management and change management. This role will report to the Operational Excellence Manager.



  • As a Subject Matter Expert, provide Account Payables process/content knowledge as input in projects
  • Defines project plans, timelines, resources, roles, tasks and risks, by using project management tools 
  • Appropriately communicates status updates, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
  • Fosters business partnering by collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including legacy-BSC and acquired businesses
  • Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation requirements of the business.
  • Drives or participates in all stages of process and system integration from gathering user requirements and researching options, design, configuration/development and testing, to rollout and maintenance.
  • Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes using Lean methods.
  • Ensures that processes and related systems meet all applicable compliance requirements.




  • BS/BA Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent experience  
  • 3+ year of working experience in a business process analyst a/o project role, a must
  • Experience with Travel and Expense processes, SAP Concur in particular is a plus
  • Continuous Improvement mindset is a must, and a LEAN, Six Sigma Green Belt certificate is an asset
  • Experience working in matrix structured multinationals, preferable within Operational Excellence, Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Adaptable to changing situations and priorities
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP’s is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Additional European languages are an asset
