About the role:

Lead the implementation of lean principles and operational excellence (by deployment of Boston Scientific’s essentials guidebooks) to support daily operational management, business strategy and - priorities.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Define a strategic roadmap for 2~3 years – agreed with Management and Leadership – for implementation of operational excellence/ lean principles/ essentials processes and – tools.
  • Lead the execution of the strategic roadmap and present progress to Management and Leadership.
  • Connect to global process owners and be the local Subject Matter Expert on operational excellence and essentials guidebooks.
  • Be the lean ambassador and promote essentials on all levels in the organization.
  • Execute lean assessments and drive improvement plans with the stakeholders.
  • Develop and conduct lean training programs for employees at all levels and departments.
  • Coach cross functional teams in using various techniques (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, lead time reductions, visual management, problem solving, continuous improvement) to reduce or minimize non-value added activities.
  • Communicate and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the local – and global organization.
     

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering related field;
  • Minimum 8 years related work experience;
  • Certified lean practitioner or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt;
  • Experience with lean manufacturing techniques, e.g. leading kaizen events, DMAIC, continuous improvement, six sigma, process - / value stream mapping, FMEA, fishbone/ Ishikawa;
  • Experience in coaching and guiding a teams;
  • Experience in supply chain is an advantage;
  • Experience in the field of medical devices is an advantage;
  • Innovative, independent thinker and energetic;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • Fluent in English.
