About the role:

You will be responsible for Identifying and/or leading Process integration/Improvement projects related to Value improvement, Waste elimination, New products to market and Quality Compliance.

The processes in the CETS organization are divers and consist out of; Call Center activity, Planning & preparation of service events, Field service, Inhouse Service, Purchasing of tools, Calibration of tools, Reverse logistics, Warehousing, Selling service Contracts etc. All processes have a Global nature (APAC, EMEA, US & LATAM)


Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyses process, product, material or equipment specifications and performance requirements in order to set up efficient processes or make existing processes more efficient.
  • Perform general engineering tasks, which may include: updating standards, performing time studies, documenting processes and creating and approving change requests.
  • Identify and/or lead value improvement, waste elimination and problem solution projects that drive performance improvements on a global level.
  • Lead projects to fulfill all process requirements related to New Product Integrations (NPI) and Acquisitions.
  • Drive facility layout and design projects.
  • Handle NCEP’s & CAPA’s (Quality Compliance projects)
  • Initiate and lead LBP projects (Lean Business Processes)
  • Develop and conduct lean training programs for employees at all levels and departments.
  • Coordinate and initiate lean projects (i.e. Lean Production, Lean Support and Born Lean).
  • Create and maintain a Lean toolkit that can include:  5S, Kaizen, quick change over, value stream mapping, mistake proofing and line balancing.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to accomplish tasks.
  • Participate in inter-site initiatives.
  • Support the Capital Equipment Service organization in daily issue handling.
  • Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of PFMEA’s, validation requirements and associated regulatory requirements.


What we are looking for:

  • Education level: HBO level or degree with at least 7+ years of engineering;
  • 7+ Years experience with processes like logistics, distribution, supply chain, risk management & LEAN; Experience in a service organization is a Pre.
  • International focus and international experience;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Creative thinking- and innovation skills;
  • Computer literate;
  • Team player with strong work ethic and positive mentality;
  • Good social -and communication- and presentation skills
  • Organizational skills;
  • Critical, accurate, flexible and stress-resistant personality;
  • Open and honest personality.
