About the role:

This position facilitates the research, evaluation, and implementation of continuous Improvement (CI) efforts to the distribution and manufacturing processes throughout ECO.  Next to that the person is responsible to provide the vision and support for implementation of 5S.


Responsibilities include:
⦁    Directly facilitate and participate in ongoing process improvements by techniques such as Kaizen, 5S and other lean tools.
⦁    Partner with operations and engineering to develop effective training tools and resources specific to continuous improvement initiatives.
⦁    Work with various department stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.
⦁    Support engineering to develop new support materials based on revised processes; to include training, reporting and system enhancements.
⦁    Sustain current 5S culture by coaching 5S champions, warehouse employees, auditing reporting out findings and performing daily gemba walks.
Coordinate, organize, execute and document Kaizen events for the continuous improvement of operations, systems, and processes .

 

Experience and skills:
⦁    Education level: MBO+/ HBO  or relevant work experience
⦁    Experience in Project management
⦁    Strong understanding of Lean/5S principles
⦁    Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
⦁    Strong written and verbal communication skills
⦁    Ability to provide strong coordination and judgment skills
⦁    Exceptional leadership and support to team members
⦁    Continuous improvement attitude
