About the role

To develop competence in strategic and/or operational work while performing in a professional work situation with emphasis placed upon training and development, and to expand professional preparation experiences far beyond the potential inherent in classroom and laboratory activities. Each internship is unique, based on matching the educational and career objectives of the student to the activities of a particular functional area and its specific needs. The internship will focus on a major project for the entire period. Student Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to BSC's goals. Internships are typically designed for undergraduate, and graduate students and are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to Boston Scientific's goals.

 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Support in administrative tasks and documentation of the department: search and sending of delivery notes, sending of lists, checking of materials in the system, completion of customer database.
  • Supply Chain KPIs management: Analyze and propose improvement action.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Supports transformation initiatives working with the regional teams and adopt & apply best practices from the region.
  • The intern will assist in optimizing the functionality of Esker, E-order, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing user support. The intern will contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of order management process within Boston Scientific.
  • Supports Customer Care daily activities through SAP and Service Cloud in Salesforce.

Required qualifications

  • Student from a bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, or economics, in the eighth cycle or higher.
  • English Level: Upper intermediate (B2) or higher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge on supply chain management and logistic processes.
  • Analytical profile and attention to details.
  • Technologically oriented with a strong understanding of emerging trends and the application of exponential technologies.
  • Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to embrace new ideas, processes, and procedures.
