Purpose

Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Endoscopy Division.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developer further as a professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques.  Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors)
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
  • With Limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution while optimizing available tools (consignment etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the Endo Suite.
  • Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly and yearly basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
  • To represent Boston Scientific's values and integrity.
  • Upon request, may lead a project team of moderate scope.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • 2-5 years successful sales experience - healthcare, pharmaceutical, software, consumer products.  Preferably a background in short sales cycle industries where direct selling to professionals is required and compensation is based on 'pay for performance'
  • Demonstrated business planning development and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb technical, clinical and product knowledge and disseminate effectively to all levels of healthcare professionals
  • Excellent product knowledge and selling skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Demonstrates a consistent, positive attitude towards the role, working in a team and upholding corporate image with our customers
  • Good understanding of hospital environment

 The total annual target cash compensation for this role is in the $120-140K range.
